Centaur Training Services utilises several awarding body’s to deliver our wide portfolio of courses.

Below are links and information regarding our various awarding body’s including what courses they cover.

The First Aid Industry Body (FAIB)

The First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) is an independent awarding body that is ‘run by the industry for the industry’. It is run by a management advisory panel from across the U.K. and is monitored by professional and independent first aid inspectors. It provides more monitoring than the old HSE system and allows training organisations to issue their own certificates. The First Aid Industry Body (FAIB), a trade body (an acceptable option for employers to choose as per the HSE information sheet), checks every registered training provider to ensure that they will always meet the standards that employers need to satisfy their legal requirements for first aid provision as required by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE).

They have over a decade of experience and extensive knowledge in developing assessments and accrediting and certifying qualifications. You must state you want this awarding body when booking; otherwise, our courses are accredited by FAIB.
